Hiring: Sales Manager - India

The primary responsibility of the Sales Manager for India is to drive sales revenue in the assigned territory, India, and develop the pipeline and foundation for future growth. We are looking for a self-starter who is a dynamic and self motivated individual, with the confidence and knowledge to manage and close large enterprise solution deals. The Sales Manager should have a proven track record with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in solution sales, preferably to large enterprises such as telcos and utilities. The Sales Manager will be focused on acquiring new customers by working with and through an existing network of resellers and partners. He/ She will define the territory strategy and be empowered to execute it. This is a strong leadership role and the SM will carry the quota for the Indian territory. This position reports to the Director of Sales, Asia Pacific, located in Israel. He/ She will be based in the India office in Gurgaon.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Achieve Territory’s revenue target
  • Build and execute a territory plan
  • Utilise in any sales campaign and in the most effective fashion the internal resources available
  • Build the foundations for future revenues
  • Monitor and record all sales related activity to each account or prospect
  • Work in harmony with the company executives and management
  • Maintain an awareness of accounts and industries from which to leverage strengths as appropriate

Requirements
  • Minimum of 8 years proven solution selling expertise in software industry
  • Experience in selling CRM, ERP or WFM solutions to telcos and/or utilities is preferred
  • B. Sc or B.A. in Business
  • Willingness for travel (approximately 50%) within assigned territory
