I have allready choosen the seat. I just earlier on at the start of the 24h i couldnt understand why random tiems seats are available then its not then i go back in just to look and then the ather seat that was unavailable is now available.. so it kinder felt like a random thing playing the lotto in that aspect well not quite but you know what i mean.. I believe now since it has past aprox 8 or so hours now the check in online has settle but still empty seats from all i see.. I could allways re-locate my seat if i want.

The reason why i wanted to make sure either im faceing east or west is just rpetty much what to view from the window.... for example early morning flights such as 10 am departure im not quite sure if the sun will bean down into the window at me while i cant see much at all from the view below. Or is that the very early flights on east view seats of the plane ? bne to melb.

The beautiful and most interesting now is that returning back late afternoon you sure want a window seat faceing west australia because you want to capture the best of the best of that glowing orange sunset from the distance since we are seen plenty of these during winter. Unless of course it will be distractive from the sun faceing at me because the sun is not going to be faceing obove the plane. but more at me.

Aniways ive just learn something new from you folks.. So all set and ready to go. I gues we all do argue we want the window seat then someone wants it first.

By out of interest matter... Not sure if this is rare or does happen... but lets say im on a window seat alocated the number so on on the ticket... someone is seating at my seat just because the passanger nows he or she is seating in the same row as me.. Now thats going to be quite confusing... My ticket does not indicate WINDOW seat. it just says the number. Or is that just the letters like ABCDEF rows.. so if i choose window on the west its F and F means window seat.... and E means west of the plane and middle seat in the same row. And D means aile seat in the same row as i am all faceing from bne to melb let me know if this is correct.

I just thought each seat in the plane should show a number so people wont steal or get confuse... Know if someone is seating on the window seat 18f then thats my seat and perhaps that person may miss understood and should be seated next to me in the middle seat.
Don't worry - on a 737 like the one you'll be one, there are 6 seats, ABC|aisle|DEF - when you get on you'll see up on the overhead where the bags go, the signs that say which row you're in, and a picture that shows you which seat is yours. If someone's sitting in your seat, then you can just ask them to check (they might be in the wrong row, or not know which seat is which).

Sometimes it can be a little confusing which row number you're in as the signs don't like up properly so you might think you are in Row 18 but actually Row 17. The people already sitting or a Flight Attendant will be able to tell you for sure though, so don't worry too much and have a good flight
