I think the issue is there is an agreement between South Africa and the UK over the number of flights between the two countries - and the total number of flights have been taken up by BA, SAA and Virgin. So even if they wanted to fly more often they cannot

Maybe when BA gets it's A380's they might be deployed on routes to South Africa and therefore boost capacity.
