Former paranoid flyer, now just a nervous one. My home airport is GRK (it was ILE), so I fly often on RJs and Embraer's. The Embraer is a fairly large plane (relatively), but there is something I seem to prefer more in a jet over a prop plane. Not sure if it is the speed (RJs seem to be a shorter flight), but crosswinds (tailwinds?) seem to make an Embraer fly sideways. Maybe not sideways, but not completely straight. I seldom have that same sensation in an RJ.
