Hi,

I am thinking of flying from Montreal to Singapore via London in January cos it is the cheapest ticket I could find out there presently. The flight to Singapore is ok in terms of connection time however for the return flight, it is terrible. Namely the layover at Heathrow Airport will be around 8 hours. You arrive at 6.30 am and depart at 3.40 pm. Even if I take a slow walk with my dd (I will be travelling alone with my 4-year old) from the plane to the connecting gate, it would probably take 1 hour max, which gives about 7 hours to kill.

Do I try to book a place at the Holideck at T4 or do I try booking a hotel room for that few hours?

Would appreciate some advice.
