The hotel I was considering was the Hilton Embassy Row in DC. I called several times, but kept being bounced around from front desk to reservations to the asst. manager to rooms manager, etc. I left several voice mails for the GM, but got no reply, so I eventually gave it up and just settled for a regular award room (which was upgraded to a club floor at checkin due to gold status).
