I've flown both Comair and SAA frequently on the JNB to CPT route in J. The service and the seats are comparable. The key difference for me is that the Comair planes feel much older compared to SAA's. Typically Comair fly earlier versions of the 737 whereas SAA appear to fly the latest models.
