I mean all (well, most) of the connecting flights are on CRJs. If I'm paying for J and I've got a choice of going CRJ through CVG or mainline through ATL or DTW, why would I bother with CVG? Heck, I booked an I ticket to London this spring with the return through CVG - they had me on a 5 hour layover just so I could get an F seat on a CR9.... I chose the earlier flight on a CR1.
