Delta is responsible for CVG's insane airfares. I haven't booked a CVG-O/D ticket on DL in years. I either booked AA, UA, or US or I chose one of the other nearby airports whose fares were not way out of whack. Thankfully, SDF is my home airport, not CVG.
A lot of people also would do DAY and connect in cvg which they will no longer be able too.
