Once I had a similar experience. Going from IAD to LHR, I had to sit thru a combination of a 7 year old kid watching cartoons on a laptop without headphones, and sporadic kicking of my seat. After an hour, I just lost it and turned around and berated BOTH parents. The father apologized profusely, but the mother gave me "the eye". Needless to say, at least the rest of my flight was relatively peaceful. =)
