The first was the DT Norfolk, which as stated, is dreadful. Then up the road to the HI Norfolk Airport (blech!). Then another Hampton, can't recall which one...
Next up is the Hilton Norfolk, we'll give that a shot...
How's the DT VA Beach? tried, but it was sold out... its near the convention center.
FWIW the HI in Chesapeake looks nice and it in a very commercial area with lots of dining options.
The road where the DT, HI and H are located has awful dining options.
