All agents have access to customer profile information of which CIV score is part.

The reason the your EC card is asked for is in order to speed up the process for you to enter the lounge. It takes longer to access the information required to know if you are allowed entry or not. Much easier and quicker to just check the valid card. Then you can get in quicker to start your champagne guzzling

As G-BOAC says, "time to get over the card thing"!! Most other clubs of which you're a member will ask you for your membership card, so can't understand why some (not you Ken John) get so upset at having to produce the card.
