I agree. My personal comfort level with ATL (when I really care about making a connection) is 60+ minutes or 2.5+ hours if traveling to a once a day international destination. But I'm trying to steer this thread away from anecdotes and personal comfort levels and towards the official published MCTs.

There are times when I don't care if I make the connection or not (remember: good things happen when you misconnect) and would like to book flights with the shortest (legal) connection, even if well below my "comfort level."

For the itinerary I was trying to book today I found a workaround and was able to book the desired 45 minute ATL connection online at DL.com that DL RES would not book!
