You don't need anything other than a passport and the address in the US at which you'll be staying. It could prove useful to also have proof of your return ticket and also of your occupation, in case you are questioned.

Immigration processing will take place at EWR.

I'm a university student, so I don't have any proof of occupation. I hope this won't be a big problem?
