I am very happy with this new deal for QF points. I would either shop at Coles or Woolies and always spend over $30 on the weekly or twice weekly shop. At Coles I get a deal where I get additional 4cent fuel vouchers (effectively meaning I get 8c off fuel through my credit card), but once you have spent over $30 in that transaction at Coles, your done. No further benefit really. Whereas now with Woolies, I am being rewarded for every dollar I spend OVER $30 (as well as the 4c fuel voucher) so I am very happy with it. It's QF points for basically doing nothing different to what I would do anyway. The real bonus to me was being able to join my daughter up to QF for FREE ^. Now I just have to remember to take her card shopping with me sometimes so she gets some points in her account.

The other benefit is that it will keep the accumulated points in my QF account alive, while I am currently not flying QF overseas or domesitically.

As others have said, I highly doubt that Woolies will drop the QF points limit to under $30 spend, no matter whether we complain or not. Personally I am happy with the deal, its points for doing nothing extra or unusual for me.

My first Woolies shop points showed up within about 7 days, but I have not checked my QF account yet.
