Me and a couple of friends are heading to iceland for a week in the middle of august.

we were thinking of doing ring road, starting in Reykjavík; with overnight stops in Akureyri and Hofn.

For people who have done the ring road, does this sound reasonable? any advice you can give me would be more then appriciated... thanks!
