You generally will not get airline miles, rental car miles and Gold/Diamond bonus points with award stays. All charges will appear as base points only.
Look at your stay details on the website if the rate plan says HH you generally will not get any airline/bonus miles.
There are however some instances where the award stay will show up under another plan code (most likely when its faxed or called in to the HHonors center) and you will get points, but if your plan says HH dont bother to a waste your time calling in to get bonus points.
