It seems our friends over at VS, will now be following BA in applying a piece system for checked baggage on all routes. The policy is basically the same as BA, except that those in UC will have to pay for anything over 23kgs but less than 32kgs and are not exempt. The fee for this will be £35 and additional bags will cost £90. All fees will be collected at the airport until early 2010, when they will have a system on their website.

When BA made this move a few years ago, there were many negative comments about this. What will the reaction be to VS??
