Go ahead and book it online with your Dad's name. Then on Monday call MR and change the reservations to your name. This way you know that the rooms are reserved.

Marriott now uses e-vouchers for the free rooms, no paper certificates.

BTW -- I did it for a friend of mine this week. I booked at night and then called MR in the morning to change the name on the reservation.
