So - salient details. I'm flying AF (first time!) from London Heathrow to Paris CDG at 12:50, landing at 15:00. I then have a AF flight to Mauritius at 16:20 from CDG. This only gives me a 1hr 20min connection time.
I've been poking around on the internet and found umpteen horror stories about connecting at CDG (a lot of which are admittedly quite old) so I'm now starting to get pretty nervous about missing my connecting flight - the next one isn't until the next day. So I have some questions for you lovely people:
1. Is the connection do-able in the time I have? I think I'll be coming into CDG at terminal 2F and going from 2E, but please correct me if I'm wrong on this, I don't have those particular details.
2. What's the quickest way to do it? Walking, shuttle buses, any other method?
3. Any other important points that are good to know :-)
Thank you all!

You will be arriving in 2E (main boarding pier or satellite S3) and leaving from 2F, for an international to international connection. Your best option is the airside shuttle bus that runs from 2E to 2C and then to 2F. (Note that there will actually be no stop at 2C, as there are no AF flights in 2C after 2PM).
If you arrive in S3, you will have one stop at the main 2E building, and then it will be 2F. If you arrive at the main boarding pier, the first stop is 2F. According to ADP, transit time should be 20mn with a maximum wait time of 10mn.
When arriving in 2F, you will need to clear security to enter the gate area. If you are flying in a premium cabin, you can use the fast track lane "acces n°1". Once you have cleared security, it is 5-7mn to any gate.
1h20mn is doable, but I usually prefer a leisurely pace for my connections, so I would probably try to take the earlier flight from LHR, but then, that's just me.
Enjoy your flights and your destination
