Had to book another business trip to the Far East to leave on Monday, and as per company rules, booked in C. The last two trips to the the Far East (KUL & BKK) have been booked in C but Emirates had a book C fly F promo running, which has now finished.

Anyway, decided to try the A380 on the leg from DXB to BKK, thinking even in C it should be nice. Checked yesterday, and there were no upgrades available using miles. Checked again around 15 minutes ago, and there were so it's a private suite for me, and have to say for the first time in a long time, I am genuinely excited at the prospect !
