i wonder how the undepicted rooms of the royal suite are. perhaps vuittonsofstyle can compare to gallery suite.
If you look at the original advertisements for the FS Florence, this depicts the reception gallery of the Royal Suite in the Palazzo della Gheradesca building, whilst the restorers were renovating the ceiling paintings.

This is a massive suite and involves walking considerable distances to go, say, from the office and media room to the dining room, which is at the other end of the reception gallery (the size of a small chapel).

The bedroom of the Royal Suite looks about the same size as the gallery suite bedroom, but everything else is on a much grander scale. The bathroom, for instance, is in two large rooms - one with a masonic ceiling over the tub and double vanities and another housing the shower and WC.

There is a second large suite in the Conventino building, which looks onto the gardens and, like the Royal Suite, has a long reception gallery with painted ceilings.

The food, by the way, is outstanding. Executive Chef, Vito Mollica was instrumental in gaining Eastern Europe's first and only Michelin star when he was at FS Prague. In Florence, I would say that he is even better. Even breakfast here is a treat (The Tuscan breakfast especially).
