On 6/16 our family flew BA from ORD to LHR. Weather was threatening to rain and the capitan was apparently in a hurry to get on his way. We pulled away from the gate while passengers were still standing in the aisles and many overhead bins were still open. A flight attendant expressed great surprise at how quickly we backed off the gate. We were on a 777, but the safety video that was shown on the aircraft was for a 747. I was very surprised at both incidents and wonder if BA has more relaxed safety standards than the US airlines that I'm used to flying.
