There is NOT enough room in E for the late afternoon DL Europe push.
So any 767 flight could end up there. They even opened a Duty free shop in T.
B can no longer handle a widebody - B1 used to be able to until around 2006, when they started to pull back quite a bit on domestic widebody flying.
5 gates (I think) on T can handle a widebody. I think there's around 6-7 on A that can, but with T being in a much more compact area, it makes sense to make T an overflow int'l departures concourse, especially since the T lounge is pretty quiet for BE passengers (it used to be the either the IFL or Business lounge before E opened up) as well as adding a duty free area in there.
