Hi all -

I'm looking to go to SYD in April next year for a wedding on the 9th. Started thinking about the trip and wondered about combining with a week or so in BGI afterwards. Looking at the round the world section on ba.com I planned a LHR-SIN-SYD-LAX-MIA-BGI-LGW trip in J, leaving on April 3rd and back on the 20th which came out at about £10.5k for the two of us; which is a bit more than I can really afford.

Therefore my question to the esteemed panel here is how can I do it a bit cheaper? I would definitely want to do LHR-SIN-SYD-LAX in J. Not that bothered about travelling in J from LAX-MIA-BGI and I suppose I could go BGI-LGW in W. I also have about 100k miles so I could potentially MFU some sectors.

Ideally I want to do it on these dates:

LHR-SIN-SYD leaving on the 2nd/3rd April with no stopover
SYD-LAX leaving on the 10th with perhaps 1 night in LAX
LAX-MIA-BGI leaving on the 12th
BGI-LW - leaving on 20th

Any suggestions on how to do this trip for about £7.5k max for two people? Mrs Lamarr only has about 12k miles.
