I consider SFO-ORD-MAD-DME, where SFO-ORD is AA departing 9:45am.

The connection time to IB at ORD is 45 min. I'm quite sure, that I'll make it even if SFO-ORD will be some 20 min late at ORD, but I'm also quite sure, that 20 min is not sufficient for the baggage to travel from one board to other.

My thought is to try to send my baggage with the flight before, which departs SFO at 6:00am. For me it's proven fact, that in the case with bumping baggage remains on board even if passenger will wait for the next flight- so in theory it could be possible.

Since the travel is to be booked not on aa.com - I cannot place myself on the flight departing 6:00am - I don't see the flight there.

Finally, since Moscow is not my final destination, and from there I'll go by train to different country- I'm not sure what will happen with my luggage if it won't make it to ORD-MAD.
