I was on LGA-ORD a couple weeks ago and spent almost 2.5 hours on the tarmac (going back to the gate to refuel) and waiting on the tarmac again. I checked aacargo and it said ATC delay but after landing I started looking on flightaware - almost all of the UA flights were on time (or less than 30 min delayed). It is a mystery.
