Well, Glen, you've done it! I hadn't realised that Scandics were valued at 10,000 Honors points a night till you asked. Thanks to you and SanDiego1K, davistev, TonySymons and LA guy for the collective info.

Thanks to you all, I now have stays at the Simonkentta and Gateway Scandics in June and July for only 10,000 points each.

I knew most of the Scandics from before when they were part of other groups or independent.

I guess my favourite was the Kalastajatorppa, but we won't have time to get there. If it's good enough for the US president (Reagan, wasn't it?), it's good enough for me!

I haven't stayed at the Simonkentta before, but will do so on the recommendation of TonySymons and LA guy. The hotel only has a business room, but that's OK, isn't it?

Our room at the Gateway has no window! Apparently, none of the rooms has. But as it's in the international departure hall at HEL, it will help our early departure.
