Yes, this just *may* be one of those silly glitches that takes place for a brief window when a new chain gets absorbed. Scandic do not give away points too readily as my own experience tells me well. Their top level "Privelige" Card takes 100 nights in
12 months to earn it looks like according to their website!

The HH 'way of doing things' like giving folks 8,000 a year for updating a profile for instance will have Scandic brass going white with fear of the potential redemptions. Scandinavian hotels are among THE priciest in the world.
