Oh yeah. I love airports. At least as much as the flight itself! And I'll regularly route through as many as possible if I'm on my own, otherwise it's as short as humanly possible with a preference given to *A flights. I think it's the experience of different places, each with a different set of people going their own ways, each having their own take on a lounge to check out, the architecture unique(-ish) to each place.

Even LHR, where I'll connect if at all humanly possible, even if just to see how the big MuOR is coming along (and btw, the new BD lounge in T1 is fantastic). Especially seeing the people from all the parts of the world where I hope to get to some day is exciting in its own right (like the Arik 340 a few trips ago). Next up, though, may have to be ZRH, to see how they've redesigned it to deal with the new Schengen configuration.

I guess I really just love the ability to jump on a plane somewhere and touch down in three different places which are sometimes on the way to where I'm going, especially if it's going to reduce the CPM. YXE-YYC-YEG-YYC-YYZ was a field day of seemingly needless cnx for miles that turned into the beginning of a great, relaxing, 49 hour connection. Can't get enough!
