I am very late to this promotion and discussion

I have never used NWA mall before. So after i am already logged in it seems to redirect me to the merchant site. after i bought a subscription it never asked me for my nwa number nor did i see it mentioned on the site? Does one have to use blind faith or does it somehow know i was directed there from the NWA mall? I am little confused and scared by the whole process. Now i am a little hesitant to buy anything else as im afraid it doesnt know me.
