On CX you can order nespresso coffee which is better. Still tastes weak but I attribute that to tastebuds in the air. But QF catering overall is way better.
And on CX, your wine will be topped up without a whine so don't worry about the size of the glass
One of the benefits in CX vs QF in J class, is that CX still offers mid flight snacks. So you can order noodles and sandwiches. QF didn't offer that last time I took them on this route, but don't know if that's changed.
