Only down side is it says "Smoking room". . .does that seem right, do they still have smoking rooms? Figured I didn't want to jinx it, pretty sure it's all non-smoking so will just wait and see what we get at check in.
I really like the pools at this property. If the main pool is busy, try the smaller lanai pool.
I was at the hotel in May and found a great rate for a Marina suite hidden somewhere on spg.com - booked it and then realized it was marked as a smoking room. Noted on the hotel website that the hotel is 100% non-smoking. I called the Plat line and confirmed that the hotel is now actually 100% non-smoking, despite a few of the rooms still noted on the system as smoking. Had a lovely 1 BR suite (only one story, alas!) with a lovely view of the marina and a short elevator ride from the club lounge, and clean and fresh air inside and out. Card inside room noting cleaning cost if one smokes in the room.
Was very happy with 98% of my stay at this hotel (and the 2% that I had trouble with - a complicated evening check-out before a late flight - was very quickly resolved by the manager-on-duty).
