On several occasions I've just skipped security at E and just headed to the screening area accessible from garage between E and C (stay at lobby level in garage). No elite line, but very little traffic there. Parking lots drop at E for C, pick-up at C (west side) and E.

Used the "hidden" screening area last Sunday and it was a breeze; only 2 other people in line when I made it there. I was with a buddy who flies into/out of IAH 4 to 5 times a year who was completely surprised by the ease of getting thru TSA. He had no idea the screening area was even there.
