for the record CX policy is the same

Price is about 20% higher on the Discount compared to the Promo

Questions

Does the AAA b/f still qualify for the promo (vs discount) rate?

Does this (assuming AAA B/f is inc) have any bearing on my ability to claim any thing on the 2500 point guarantee if the RC is closed for the holiday?
Often times it seems one is cheaper than the other. I recall last month in Boston, AAA had a standard discount rate, but there was also a New England AAA promo rate that was much lower. Just go with the cheaper one.
