Being such a great customer of Hilton, I've contemplated purchasing their stock in the past. However, Hilton Hotels Corp. in the US does not offer any hotel discounts, etc.

Much to my suprise, that does not appear to be the case for the Hilton Group, plc in the UK. They are offering discounts and specials to shareholders at all their hotels. The website below lists the benefits:

Look under the heading "Investor Information" and then "Shareholder Benefits."

If I travelled more to their locations (note: they do not own US properties) it might be worth purchasing at least one share just to get the benefits (currently trading at around £150).

They do own a Chicago property, I forgot which one, and they do own, I think, the YUL airport property, as well.

Marriott used to give discounts to its shareholders, but I think this has been phased out.

Great catch, by the way!
