FYI:

- Schengen to Schengen - no Immigration/Passport Control, no Security Control

- Schengen to non-Schengen - Immigration/Passport Control, no Security Control

- non-Schengen to Schengen - Immigration/Passport Control, Security Control

- non-Schengen to non-Schengen - no Immigration Control, Security Control

This works like this all over Schengen area (some variations apply: in ZRH for all passengers and in Germany for flights to the USA).
