Realize too: there's essentially NO such thing as 1st-class into MBS ~ pretty much DC9 & CRJ service only, from DTW or MSP.

Take a peek at FNT. Likely 'way cheaper ~ probably enuf to cover a rental car, and maybe a good chunk of the redeposit fees.
