Well, it's sort of true ex-Paddington. They were trying out a new service pattern on the Circle this weekend, whereby all clockwise trains start at Hammersmith, go around the H&C, and then loop back to Edgware Road; and vice versa anticlockwise. It actually amounts to a more frequent and reliable service, particularly on the H&C, with fewer gaps and snarl-ups (particularly at Edgware Rd)

However, it does mean if you want to go east from Paddington, you need to change trains/platforms at Edgware Road. Besides, from the HEx platforms, it's almost always quicker, faster, less crowded to take the H&C
