Despite this clear and unambiguous information on the TFL web site there were signs up all over the HEX station at LHR this evening claiming that London Underground tickets aren't valid. I wonder how many people with perfectly valid tickets got fooled into paying again.

Also, on arrival at Paddington there were signs claiming the Circle Line was closed - when according to tfl.gov.uk it's running a normal service. (My husband didn't get a chance to find out who was right, he believed the signs at Paddington and went on a long hike to the Hammersmith & City Line... but at least he didn't get fooled into paying for the HEX)

What are they playing at?
