Sorry if this has been mentioned in the past before, but quite interested in setting up a paypal account and transfering or making payment using Amex.

My line of work involved quite a lot of purchases using credit card, then claiming the money back from my company, as you can imagine, not everyone are very keen when the name Amex is mentioned, while I understand that you can set up a paypal account then apply for a paypal pre-paid credit card and using it as a alternative payment as it is branded as a visa card, while making payment from Amex to paypal account, would it be classified as a cash advance or a card purchase?

I wonder if this works at all since I earn most of my BA Miles from purchasing.
