When you read the fine print, it appears that the points only apply if you haven't already updated the profile for the current 2,000 point bonus.

But there was an earlier post where the person had done that, and then updated the PIN, in accordance with the E-Mail, and received 1,000 points.

Hmmmm....time to call them.
