In response to a survey of our Fortune 500 Company's western states sales force (approx 125 reps) and effective immediately, our sales reps will have their choice of staying at Starwood or Marriott hotels. We had been required to stay at Hilton properties. And beginning in 2003, our national quarterly sales meetings will not be booked at Hilton Hotels. These changes are a response to overwhelmingly negative comments regarding the quality of Hilton hotels and by extension the HHonors program. That the Reno Hilton botched a senior VP's room reservation didn't help Hilton's cause.
