If the correct data plans are in fact provisioned correctly on your account, it should just work. Be sure you know what you're paying...I bet it's not cheap.
When I asked about it I was specifically told that the tethering software does NOT work internationally. If it did it would just be part of the unlimited plan - $65/month - assuming you subscribe to that plan which is the right way to go for international travel.
