UA canceled the once a day KIX-SFO flight last Sunday and stranded a lot of people. By the time they off loaded the passengers three hours later all other options for the day were gone. UA stopped NGO-SFO and KIX-ORD last fall.

Unless you are flying on ANA or JAL, staying with NRT is better. There were some rumor HND-SHA (Hongqiao) service will start.
