Sounds like you should drive or have someone drive you. No amount of fact, consoling or rationalization regarding this, or any airplane is going to get you in the right frame of mind to fly. This isn't an issue of the CRJ200, regional airlines or regional pilots. This is an issue with you FLYING. Period.
All planes encounter turbulence. All planes get hot. All planes have moving parts that break. All planes have humans, who sometimes make mistakes at the controls. All plane travel has some degree of risk.
