Actually, I think a discussion would be great. However, it's not a discussion, it's just a giant whining thread.
Myself and others have attempted to lay out some reasoned, logical posts in an attempt to discuss the matter. However, those who are angry aren't "discussing" anything, they are not open to any other possible point of view. They just seem to present themselves to the forum like a 7 year old at the grocery checkout screaming endlessly, and over, and over, "I WANT, I WANT, I WANT, I WANT..." over a candy bar.
Sorry, it hasn't been a discussion. But if you are interested in discussing, by all means please do read some of my previous posts and let's "discuss." In fact, many here don't even seem to be reading the entire thread, they see the title, follow the link and try to register, then come back screaming and yelling once it says they are not eligible.
I must say, and it's sad, that the SPG forum on FT (not just this thread) has become without question (by a wide margin) the whiniest, most entitlement focused forum I frequent on a regular basis.
