The reason for this is that I found the main restaurants - although good - to be the least preferred place for dinner, both at KH and LG. Both in terms of the food and in terms of the atmosphere. The theme dinners in the main restaurant at KH was very good, and also the Japanese part of the LG main restaurant (both would not be included anyway as far as I understand), but for the rest I preferred to eat at the other restaurants. Great food, great service and much more atmosphere/view etc. No doubt!
And in addition, it would be boring. We spent a week at each island, and found three restaurants to choose from really necessary.
Thanks Musken - I'll check with the FS regarding whether one is limited to only one of the restaurants. For KH, for example, it would seem strange that one would be restricted to the Indian restaurant (if that's the main one), and cannot have lunch/dinner at the Italian restaurant..
The message from the FS says no specialty menus and no theme dinners..
