Two leased ex-Air Malta 733 do not have the drop down screens. FA need to do the saftey demo manually rather than just stand there
. Note as these two birds do not have the small cabinet housing the IFE system in front of row 2 you have heaps of legroom!
The other problem with NZ 737 is that most of them do not have the sound system in the armrests so having the quiz played on the screens is the only thing they can do.
I believe the few 733 equipped for international flights have an operating sound system but I do not know how many or the rego numbers.
