I've tried the new "Contact Us"/"My Applications" mechanics.
I did get a relatively prompt response. The response is received only
by mail, in the "My Applications" tab you only see that the issue is
closed, impossible to retrieve the question and answer.

The subject column says "Other" instead of the real subject.

What's of interest to this discussion though is the actual answer:

Thank you for contacting El Al Frequent Flyer club.
Following an investigation, I discovered that in the past, business class kits were not distributed to European destinations for financial reasons.
After speaking to our prestige customers who fly in business class they requested that we distribute the contents of the kit unpackaged since our customers do not require the entire kit but individual items. Therefore, it was decided to distribute the individual items from the kit to our passengers on board.

Did any of you request that the contents of the kit will be distributed
unpackaged because you don't need the entire kit?
